This is a modest event centered around a cause. The Healing of America Concert is being hosted by the Columbus Center as part of an educational, fundraising, and recruiting effort. The proceeds will primarily be used to cover the costs of taking students to the Middle East in November for constitutional educational outreach and to put on additional conferences and events in the future. Our concert and performers will inspire you with a love of God, family, and country.
Meet our 2018 Healing of America Concert performers!
Evie Clair is known for unique and beautiful gift of vocal expression and piano arranging. She began developing her abilities at the age of two, and since then has performed in church, school and community theaters, kept up a successful YouTube channel, sung the national anthem at professional sporting events, recorded and released original music including a song for a movie soundtrack, won numerous talent competitions, worked with top artists and world wide organizations. Her most public debut came when she placed in the Top Ten of Season 12 of America’s Got Talent where she wowed the judges and audience with her breathtaking performances. Evie has been recording, traveling and performing since the show and her original pop album Okay Day hit the top 50 on the iTunes Pop Chart.
Stephanie creates soothing and meaningful acoustic pop music as an indie singer, songwriter, musician and producer. A Georgia native who has spent time living in Idaho and Texas, she now lives and produces her music out of her home studio in Chico, California.
Stephanie started with the intent of improving herself through music, but soon she was writing her own songs and her guitar teacher, who was also a producer, suggested she pursue creating her own CD.
Stephanie finds inspiration from other artists — among her favorites are Ben Rector, Sara Bareilles, Tori Kelly and Adele — as well as her own experiences and her relationships with her family.
When not working on music, Stephanie dedicates her time to being a stay-at-home mom to her two sons, ages 4 and 6.
Merrie has been performing her whole life and is passionate about sharing messages of love and hope through music. She has played many leading roles in musical productions in Utah and Idaho, her favorites being Fantine in Les Miserables and Cinderella in Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Merrie attended BYUI-Idaho and finished her Bachelor’s degree at BYU in Family Studies. She is excited to be returning to Rexburg to a perform again and to help share tonight’s amazing message.
We’re excited to have Merrie as one of our openers for the Healing of America Concert!
